From training the dog when she was only 5 yrs old, to curating original songs in high-school lunch-breaks for the school musical; Tashka brought her passion for invention & coaching into her now 26+ long Teaching Career. With a unique edge and lessons that are "so much more than just music" - there's a reason her students come back week after week for decades; committed, enthusiastic, & driven.

From over 40 students weekly for decades she now focuses on smaller cohorts to ensure dedicated presence & focus.

"My daughter was 7 when she started working with Tashka. She was autistic and had hyperflexible fingers, so the physiotherapist recommended piano classes. Lara was prone to meltdowns and had a flea-sized attention span. However, we were lucky to get Tashka as her teacher, with her patience of a saint and infectious enthusiasm. We were shocked when she said our daughter was ready to do piano exams. 10 years later, Lara passed AMusA (Associate in Music) degree with flying colours. Lara still plays in the orchestra and as an accompanist and plans to continue her career as a pianist. And it is all because of one amazing, incredibly talented teacher who would not give up.

We were so blessed to have had Tashka in our lives. Lara is 21 now, but as I was writing the review, she told me she misses making songs and jamming with Tashka. It is too far for us to drive to Waterford West, but I hope the children and young people in the area appreciate how lucky they are to have such an amazing teacher."
